Massage Policies:
Client services and chart information are confidential. Written authorization is required from you to release any information.
• Your scheduled session is set aside for you. We do not double book appointments
• 24 hour cancellation notice is required to avoid being charged for your session. See details in Policies linked below.
• Should the session require, after your therapist has left the room, you may disrobe to your comfort level
• I understand that my therapeutic massage therapist or I may end the session at any time for any reason
• Your comfort and privacy are always respected. You will be professionally draped throughout your session. Please note: Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the session, as well as possible legal action.
Client Agreement:
I understand that therapeutic massage therapists do not diagnose illness, disease, any physical or mental disorder, nor do they prescribe medical treatment, pharmaceuticals, or perform joint mobilization.
I acknowledge that massage therapy is not a substitute for medical examination or diagnosis, and it is recommended that a physician be seen for that service.
It is my choice to receive therapeutic massage as a form of therapy.
I also undersand that at any time I feel pain or discomfort during the session, I will immediately inform my therapeutic massage therapist so they can adjust accordingly.
I affirm that I have disclosed all relevant medical conditions and will promptly inform my massage therapist, in writing, of any changes to my health status. I understand that failure to do so may increase my risk of injury, and I agree to release and hold harmless Simple Changes and my massage therapist from any liability for injuries or conditions that may result from undisclosed or incomplete health information.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
1. Client Cancellations & No-Shows
I understand that life can be unpredictable! If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please give as much notice as possible, with at least 24 hours’ notice as a minimum. This allows other clients the opportunity to schedule in that spot and helps me keep things running smoothly.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, if your spot cannot be filled, will incur a fee of 50% of the session price.
No-shows (missing your appointment without any notice) will be charged the full session amount.
If late cancellations or no-shows become a recurring issue, the fee may be increased or prepayment may be required to book future sessions. Thank you for understanding and respecting my time and business.
2. Therapist Cancellations (Because Even Therapists Have Off Days!)
In the rare event that I must cancel with less than 24 hours' notice (don’t worry—this is not a normal occurrence!), it's genuinely due to unforeseen circumstances. As a token of appreciation for your flexibility and to make amends for the inconvenience, I'll offer you a choice: additional time added to a future session at no cost, or a discount voucher you can use yourself or share with a friend.

Sessions are scheduled at the actual massage start time. Please arrive no more than 10 minutes early to allow for check-in and getting settled.
1. If the Client is Late
If you arrive late, or if extra time is needed to get ready, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time and the full price will apply. If my schedule allows, I’ll do my best to make up lost time.2. If the Therapist is Late
If I am late starting your session, (very rare, but still possible) I’ll make up the lost time by extending your session (if possible), adding it to your next appointment, or offering a discount of $1 per minute.Thank you for your respect and understanding!
