Meet Samantha, Our Holistic Wellness Advocate
Samantha, the heart and soul behind Simple Changes, is not your typical Licensed Massage Therapist. She embodies a holistic approach that transcends mere physical touch. With an intuitive feel and a deep understanding of the body’s interconnectedness, Samantha weaves her magic through various massage modalities, providing clients with a full spectrum massage experience.
The Art of Listening to the Body
Samantha’s practice revolves around listening—not just with her ears, but with her hands and heart. She tunes in to the subtle cues, the whispers of tension, and the unspoken stories held within muscles and joints. By isolating problem areas and addressing them with precision, she guides her clients toward healing and balance.

Below we have included some examples of what we at Simple Changes wants to educate people on in order to help them improve their health.
Grounding: Connecting with Earth’s Energy
Grounding, or earthing, is a fundamental principle in Samantha’s practice. She recognizes that our bodies thrive when connected to the Earth’s energy. Whether it’s walking barefoot on grass, hugging a tree, or simply sitting with feet planted firmly, grounding allows us to absorb the Earth’s electrons, reduce inflammation, and restore vitality.
"Grounding is more than just a pleasant sensation—it’s a practice rooted in science. Samantha intuitively understands that our bodies thrive when electrically connected to the Earth..." Read more here!!
Red Light Therapy: Illuminating Cellular Healing
We are currently looking into offering red light therapy for our massage. This non-invasive technique bathes the body in gentle wavelengths, penetrating deep into tissues. How does it work? By activating the mitochondria—the cellular powerhouses—red light therapy enhances ATP production. Translation: more energy for cellular repair, faster recovery, and improved overall wellness.
Benefits of Red Light Therapy:
Decreased Inflammation: Say goodbye to sore muscles and joint pain.
Speedier Healing: Whether recovering from an injury or an intense workout, red light therapy accelerates the healing process.
Enhanced Athletic Performance: Muscles perform better when inflammation is reduced and energy production is optimized.
Stretching and Exercise: The Foundation of Well-Being
Samantha encourages her clients to embrace stretching and exercise as daily rituals. These simple yet potent practices:
Boost Circulation: Stretching keeps blood flowing, nourishing every cell.
Relieve Tension: Tight muscles loosen up, releasing stress and promoting relaxation.
Support Flexibility: A supple body moves freely, preventing injuries.
Ignite Energy: Exercise invigorates, elevating mood and vitality.

What is Simple Changes?
Deep Tissue
Types of Massage We Utilize
Description: Deep tissue massage is a technique that targets the inner layers of muscles and connective tissues. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to address musculoskeletal issues such as strains and sports injuries.
Benefits: Deep tissue massage helps relieve muscle pain, stiffness, and tension. It can break up scar tissue, increase blood flow, and reduce inflammation.
Swedish
Description: Swedish massage is one of the most common types of massages. It energizes the body and improves overall health. Techniques include percussion, kneading, vibration, tapping, and rolling. Massage oil or lotion is used to protect the skin from friction.
Benefits: Swedish massage promotes relaxation, improves blood circulation, reduces stress, and may help manage symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Compression
Description: Compression massage involves rhythmic pressure applied to muscle tissues. It uses petrissage (kneading movements) to relax muscles and enhance blood flow. Pressure levels can vary from gentle to deep.
Benefits: Compression massage reduces swelling, aids muscle recovery, prevents delayed-onset muscle soreness, and stimulates nerves. It’s effective for tension relief and lymph drainage.
